Rebecca Hammond, Director of Nursing
Rebecca Hammond, RN brings more than 33 years of nursing experience to her role as Director of Nursing. Her career has been shaped by compassionate patient care, clinical excellence, and a steadfast commitment to servant leadership. With over three decades as a Registered Nurse, Rebecca is known for her integrity, empathy, and unwavering support to both her patients and families, but also her staff, as she fosters a culture where quality care and collaboration thrive. Guided by faith and a heart for healing, Rebecca’s door is always open.
Dr. Stephen Besson
Dr. Stephen Besson, Medical Director, earned his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and his medical degree from Loyola University-Chicago. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, in 1999, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Besson practices medicine in the Cynthiana area and has been rounding as our facility’s Medical Director since 2019.
Sarah “Lindsey” Florence
Here at Harrison Nursing and Rehab, we are lucky to have Sarah “Lindsey” Florence, Nurse Practitioner, rounding in our center weekly. Lindsey earned her RN, BSN, and MSN degree from the University of Kentucky and is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
